A man has been charged following a hit and run on Christmas Day.
Police were called at 10.33am on Christmas morning to reports of a collision at the junction of Gateshead Road and Leeming Road in Borehamwood.
A black Vauxhall Zafira needed recovery while a second vehicle, a Volkswagen Polo, had left the scene.
Members of the public stopped to help the driver of the Zafira, but no one was injured in the collision.
Officers arrested one person at Vale Avenue shortly after the collision.
Jake Towner, 20, of Vale Avenue, Borehamwood, has been charged with possession of cannabis, careless or inconsiderate driving and failing to stop after an accident.
He was been released on bail and is due to appear at West and Central Hertfordshire Magistrates Court on January 16.
