Children donned their Christmas hats and munched on their turkey dinners as a school celebrate the festive season.
Pupils from Saffron Green Primary School, in Nicoll Way, Borehamwood, enjoyed a range of Christmas-themed activities.
Year’s 1 t o 6 were taken to the Watford Palace Theatre to see a pantomime version of Sleeping Beauty.
Reception children enjoyed a children’s entertainer at the school and a Christmas fayre.
Darth Vadar and his Stormtoopers also dropped into visit the children, alongside Santa Claus who took a break from his duties at the North Pole.
The week was rounded off by a Christmas service by Reverend Amanda at the Holy Cross Church, where year 6 children read moving poems and sang Christmas carols.
