  • Beegu

Borehamwood Times:

When Beegu’s spaceship crashes down on a blue-green planet, she emerges to find a strange world before her. Join the friendly alien on an incredible intergalactic adventure as she tries to make sense of this curious place we call Earth. An adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Alexis Deacon, this show is ideal for ages three to eight.

  • ‘Allo ‘Allo!

The Good Companions am dram group presents its interpretation of the 1980s hit BBC comedy about hapless French cafe owner Rene who, as well as trying to get through World War Two, is also struggling to hide the evidence of his affairs with the waitresses from his wife. Couple that with the cafe being used as a safe house for two brave but clueless British airman, his mother in law in bed upstairs, and trying to stop the Nazis getting their hands on The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies, and you have a recipe for comedy disaster.

  • BBC Elstree Concert Band 

Borehamwood Times:

Enjoy a mixture of traditional Christmas music and more modern tunes, as well as a selection of film music and TV themes, in recognition of Elstree’s rich cinema heritage.

  • Barnet Christmas Street Fayre

The fayre starts off with the Mayor’s loud and colourful procession along the High Street, and throughout the day visitors can browse more than 100 stalls lining the street, admire artwork, and enjoy a children’s show, Punch and Judy, live music and dance performances, a giant bouncy reindeer, Father Christmas and a children’s funfair.

  • The Nutcracker  

Borehamwood Times:

This fantastic tale follows Clara and her nutcracker doll, which transforms into a prince soldier. Their adventure sees the two go head to head against the Mouse King and join the Sugar Plum Fairy on a magical journey to a kingdom made of sweets. Performed by the highly acclaimed Vienna Festival Ballet company.
