  • Charity Music Night 

Borehamwood Times:

Folk band The Nameless Three will kickstart the evening, followed by comedy/musical act Doug, with classic rock covers band Blue Sky Rockslide (pictured above) headlining the event. Borehamwood community group The Sunday Club is running a charity fundraising night, in aid of Peace Hospice Care.

  • Dracula

See one of the most iconic figures in fiction as you’ve never seen him before. Mark Bruce’s company of ten exceptional dancers bring Bram Stoker’s haunting, erotic tale to life in a heart wrenching and magical dance theatre production. With an eclectic mix of music from Bach and Mozart to Ligetti and Fred Frith, Bruce explores choreographic styles ranging from the subtlety of classical etiquette to visceral contemporary dance. Winner of the South Bank Sky Award for Dance.

  • Live Magic Show

Borehamwood Times:

Prepare to be amazed and astounded by some of the most creative magicians around. Featuring Mandy Davis, one of the few female members of the prestigious Inner Magic Circle and Chris Hare ‘The Mind Boggler’, this magic show is really one of a kind.

  • Barnet Christmas Street Fair

Borehamwood Times:

If you’re looking for a family feelgood day out, head along to the much-loved annual street faire in Barnet. Starting with the mayor’s loud and colourful procession, the day will continue with more than 100 stalls lining the High Street, as well as a craft fair, which is a must for all those Christmas presents. There will also be artwork on display and entertainment from the Children’s Christmas Show, a Punch and Judy show, music, choirs, dancing, a giant bouncy reindeer, Father Christmas and a children’s funfair.

  • East Finchley Arts Fair

More than 30 artists will be showcasing their artwork, ranging from ceramics and paintings to jewellery and photographs. This is a great opportunity to cross some names off your Christmas list. Refreshments are also available. Donations to Ambitious about Autism can be given at this event as well.
