More than 110 guns and rifles have been surrendered at the mid-way point of a firearms amnesty.
Dozens of imitation weapons, air rifles, shotguns and thousands of rounds of ammunition have been handed in during Hertfordshire Constabulary’s firearms amnesty, which began on Monday, November 10 and will run until Friday, November 21.
Anyone wishing to get rid of a gun can contact specially trained officers who will then arrange to come and collect the weapon, or provide advice on how to apply for the required certificate.
Call officers on 01707 806126 or email BedsandHertsFLU@herts.pnn.police.uk for information.
