A learning group has been able to buy two new laptops thanks to money from a councillor.
Aldenham West Ward Councillor Caroline Clapper has donated £350 to The Radlett and District University of the Third Age through the council's Ward Improvement Initiative Scheme, which gives councillors £500 to spend on local projects throughout the year.
Jan Adams of the Radlett and District U3A said: "This is great news and we thank local councillors for their support. The funding will go towards purchasing two laptops to be used at monthly meetings for registration, speakers and also for our study groups."
Cllr Clapper added: “Our Ward Improvement Initiative Scheme is all about funding small projects in our local areas to benefit active communities.
“I know the laptops will be much appreciated by Radlett U3A and their members.”
