A club event featuring DJs playing deep house, R n B, chart hits and club classics will celebrate the spookiest night of the year.

Teenagers aged between 13 and 19 are invited to dress up in their best Halloween costumes for the themed club night on Friday between 7pm and 10pm at 96 Shenley Road.

PCSO Sam O’Grady from the Borehamwood and Elstree Safer Neighbourhood Team, has organised the event with support from Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership, Hertsmere Leisure and Youth Connexions.

She said: “The event is free and there is free pizza. Please dress up in your best costume and come along and enjoy the festive fun.”

On Saturday, teenagers can also enjoy an open air cinema evening from 6pm with free popcorn and candyfloss and a disco from 8pm to 10.30pm with optional fancy dress and free burgers at Aberford Hall.

PCSO O’Grady added: “We hope as many young people as possible turn up to the events, which have been tailored for them.

“This will also enable other members of the community, including the elderly and vulnerable, who do not want to take an active part in Halloween celebrations, to enjoy it in their own way.”
