Community groups and voluntary organisations in need of cash for the Christmas period can apply for money.
One-off grants of up to £3,000 are available through the second round of Hertsmere Borough Council's community grant scheme.
The deadline for applications is December 15.
Cllr Brenda Batten, who is responsible for culture, leisure and health, said: “The scheme is open to community groups, charities and voluntary organisations that help keep our residents happy, healthy and active.
"This is the second, and last, tranche of grants for this year so we only have £15,000 available in total but we know these grants can make a big difference so please get in touch with us if you think your group is eligible."
