  • The Big Draw

Be one of the thousands of people in more than 20 countries taking place in the Big Draw 2014, the world’s biggest drawing festival. Draw objects from Barnet Museum or help to create a collage. Pens and paper will be provided, and the event is open to both adults and children.

  • Diwali Festival

Borehamwood Times: All aglow: colourful electronic fans amused children during the Diwali

Join the thousands of people expected at Bhaktivedanta Manor this weekend to celebrate the Hindu festival of lights. There will be colourful Indian dramas, traditional dance performances, face painting and henna tattooing, and a grand firework display.

  • Phil Butler

Borehamwood Times:

Host Bryan Lacey and opener Colin Cole ably set the stage for the headline act of the latest instalment of The Comedy Club Elstree, Phil Butler, starrred in The Des O’Connor Show, Hotel Babylon and Funny Business on TV.

  • Jack Liebeck

Borehamwood Times:

Mill Hill Music Club welcomes one of the UK’s most celebrated young violinists, who also happens to live in Barnet. Jack will be joined by Simone van der Giessen on viola, Guy Johnston on cello, and Maximiliano Martin on clarinet to perform Hummel’s Clarinet Quartet in E Flat, Crusell’s Clarinet Quartet No 2 in C Minor, and Mozart’s Divertimento for String Trio.

  • A Night to Remember

A fantastic night of music, dance and comedy in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, featuring West End singers, dancers and comedians. The performers include Emily Robins from Matilda, Irish dancers, and swinging 1940s group The Polka Dots.
