A man suffered a double jaw-fracture when he was attacked twice by the same person at a train station.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to about the incident, which took place at Brighton Yard entrance point at Clapham Junction station on August 25 at 1.45am.

The 26-year-old victim, from Borehamwood, was assaulted in two separate attacks by another man.

Detective Constable Rachel Smith said: “The offender made off from the scene after the first assault, but then returned some time later and attacked the victim again by punching him to the ground and fracturing his jaw.

“I am keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image as he may be able to help us in our investigation. I believe the attacker may have been bare-chested during one of the assaults. If you were in the area or witnessed the incident, please get in touch with British Transport Police.”
