Pasta and pizza could make its way into a shopping centre if a licensing application is accepted next week.
A licensing committee meeting will be held at the civic offices on October 14, from 10am, to determine whether Italian restaurant Frankie and Bennys could be the latest shop to come to the Borehamwood Shopping Park.
The new restaurant has applied to take over a unit in the shopping park, off Theobald Street, stating it will be open from 8am through to 11pm Monday to Thursday, and from 8am until 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
Councillors will debate the application and hear representations from nearby homeowners who are concerned about the increase in noise in the area.
