Voters are being encouraged to have their say on new electoral boundaries.
A consultation, run by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England, is underway for new division boundaries across Hertfordshire - with draft recommendations including adding an extra councillor to Hertfordshire County Council, bringing the total up to 78.
Commission chairman Max Caller said: “We are keen to hear what local people think of the recommendations and to tell us if they agree with the proposals. If you don’t agree with the boundaries we have drawn, we would like to hear your alternatives.
“We will consider all the submissions we receive whoever they are from and whether your evidence applies to the whole of Hertfordshire or just a part of the county.”
People can have their say at www.consultation.lgbce.org.uk.
The full recommendations and detailed maps can also be looked at here and hard copies of the report and maps are available at council buildings and libraries.
The consultation will close on November 3.
