Lifts at a railway station were finally opened to the public this morning.
The bridge and lifts at Elstree and Borehamwood Station were in use after work to make the station more accessible was delayed by several months.
Commuters were able to use the new services this morning as Govia Thameslink and Network Rail gave the all-clear.
An official ceremony to mark the opening will be held in a few weeks.
