Pupils at an infant school have been developing their aspirations in a special themed week.
St John's Infant and Nursery School, in Gills Hill Lane, Radlett, spent last week focussing on pupils’ dreams and ambitions in its Aspirations Week.
Classes were treated to an array of talks from both parents and members of the community, including policemen, firemen, artists, musicians, a chef, a GP and a horse groomer.
Pupils also wrote about what they wanted to be when they grew up, from historians to explorers, along with dressing up in character for the day.
Headteacher Alice Aharon said: "This is the first time we have done it but it has been really successful. We wil try and do it again every three or four years so all students can take part at least once."
She added that there was a huge range of costumes throughout the school and that the children had really enjoyed learning more about different jobs.
