A care home has raised more than £80 at a coffee morning today.
The Mead care home, in Castleford Close, hosted their Macmillan coffee morning today to raise money for charity.
Residents and their friends and families enjoyed a wide selection of cakes, along with taking part in a raffle and chatting to new people.
Home administrator Emma Skuce said: “The morning itself has been well attended and I’m really pleased with the amount of money we’ve so far raised, which is now more than £80. A nice intimate event for a great cause.”
