A green fund is offering more than £10,000 in investment to energy efficient businesses.
The Low Carbon Innovation Fund has already invested £43 million in small businesses with a green ‘edge’ across the east of England and hopes to continue.
The fund, which is backed by the European Regional Development Fund, now wants to add Hertfordshire businesses to its list of investment receivers.
Project officer Sam Burton said: “The £10,000 investment opportunity will open so many more doors for small businesses, start-ups and graduates who are stuck for investment. They have great ideas and can now make it happen with this funding boost.”
