Winter wellies will no longer be needed as a new path is installed at an often muddy park.

The new footpath will link Hillside Avenue to Bullhead Road through the Maxwell Hillside Park, located next to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.

The construction of the footpath will start the week of September 8 and will take up to five weeks to complete.

It is hoped the new path will help people get across the grass without their wellies - as the ground can get wet during the winter.

During the construction the Hillside section of the park, nearest the back of the studios, will be closed to park users.
