Watford FC stars visited a summer playscheme to teach children some tricks of the trade.
Children with special needs aged five to 16, were given the opportunity to participate in a series of activities at the Noah’s Ark holiday respite scheme during the summer.
The playscheme acts as a place for parents to experience some respite while their children are not at school, and gives the children a chance to interact and play with others the same age.
Many visitors, including the fire-brigade and Watford FC, have been in to join thechildren and provide an array of activities.
Watford FC's disability development officer, Conor Craddock, joined staff to teach children basic football skills and give them the opportunity to have some fun in the sun.
Each child that visits the service is assessed and care is provided according to their individual needs, including one-on-one supervision and admitting medication.
