Celebrity Big Brother began last night with Channel 5's live launch show and a new selection of celebrities.

The reality television show, which is filmed in Elstree Studios, welcomed 14 new housemates to the house in last night's live launch.

Bookmakers are already predicting former boxing promoter Kellie Maloney - known as Frank Maloney before she came out as a transgender woman - will win the show.

Benefits Street's White Dee, actor Gary Busey, Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer James Jordan are also featured in the show, along with Edele Lynch of Irish girl group B*Witched, and actor David McIntosh.

Others entering the Big Brother house for the latest series include former British Olympic boxing champion Audley Harrison and George Gilbey of Gogglebox.

Emma Willis will host the show - the seventh celebrity version of the format since its switch from Channel 4 in 2011 and the 14th celebrity show overall.

An array of reality-TV stars are also featured in the line-up, including Stephanie Pratt from The Hills and Made in Chelsea, Lauren Goodger who has featured in ITV2's The Only Way Is Essex and Ricci Guarnaccio from Geordie Shore.

Also taking part are veteran US actor Leslie Jordan, who had a recurring role in sitcom Will & Grace, model and actress Angelique Morgan and ex-Emmerdale actress Claire King.
