Police seized cannabis and cash in a series of drug raids.

One home in Shenley, two on the Oakmere estate in Potters Bar and one in St Albans were searched as part of a proactive operation by the Potters Bar Safer Neighbourhood team last week.

Cannabis and money were seized from the house in St Albans and cannabis was also seized from a property in Potters Bar.

PC Jon Singleton from the Safer Neighbourhood Team was involved in the operation and said: “I hope this positive action sends a clear message to anyone involved in drug crime and associated anti-social behaviour that we will carry out operations to target you.

“I also hope these warrants show residents that we do listen to their concerns and will take action against those, who are in the minority, who deal in drugs and make other’s lives a misery.”

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
