A scheme to encourage women and girls in Hertsmere to get fit is embracing the outdoors this summer.

The We Move, She Moves project will be run in parks, with lots of different activities taking place during the remainder of the summer holidays.

The free 'Buggy Bootcamps' morning sessions will be continuing through the summer, held in Shenley, Radlett and Ripon Park in Borehamwood.

Bootcamps, boxercise and yoga sessions will also be taking place during the summer evenings.

Mary McLellan, We Move, She Moves instructor from Mums of Steel said: “I’m so excited that we are doing more sessions through the summer. All the sessions in the parks have been great fun to deliver and the ladies taking part have loved them.

"We had over 40 ladies at our yoga sessions on Wednesday evenings so fingers crossed we can get those sorts of numbers getting involved through the rest of the summer."
