Borehamwood food bank recently organised a three-day collection at Tesco Borehamwood where 1,601.55 KG’s of food was donated
A food bank will host a barbecue lunch tomorrow to help feed families who are struggling to feed their children.
This Wednesday, the Borehamwood food bank is hosting lunch in Meadow Park from 11.30am to 1pm.
Along with a barbecue lunch, the group will be providing lots of outside games for the children including rounders, parachutes and an area for smaller children.
The group recently organised a three-day collection at Tesco Borehamwood at which 1,601kg of food was donated.
As spaces are limited, food bank clients have been asked to contact Kim Gray on 07902 437872 to reserve a spot.
