Delays are likely as night-time roadworks close a main road into Borehamwood.
Elstree Way will be closed from 8pm to 5am every night this week as the road is resurfaced.
The work will take place from the junction and roundabout at Manor Way to the end of Elstree Way, as it nears the junction for the A1 until August 16.
