A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was assaulted in a park.
The boy was approached from behind by two attackers in Aberford Park last Saturday, August 2 at around 5pm.
One punched him in the face, just above his eyebrow, and the second punched him to the head.
The victim suffered a deep cut to his face, which required hospital treatment.
PC Emily Martin, who is investigating the case, said: “There were other young people who were present in the park at the time of the incident and I am confident they will have information which will be useful to my investigation. If you were there and can identify the suspects then please contact me with information.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police via the non-emergency number 101.
