Essential work is being carried out to keep trees away from railway signals and power lines.

Network Rail will be carrying out improvement works to stop trees and other plants away from signalling and power lines every night this week until Friday from 11pm to 5.30am.

Some people living close to the works, which are taking place behind the Elstree and Borehamwood station, have received letters notifying them of the potential for noise during those times.

Anyone with questions or concerns should contact the Network Rail National Helpdesk on 08457 11 41 41.
