A decision to reject an application for two new houses has now been appealed against.

The application to convert a house in Barkston Path, Borehamwood, into two new homes was initially rejected by planning officers as it was believed it would have a detrimental visual impact on the area.

Officers also stated that the plans had not allowed enough space for off-street parking.

An appeal has now been submitted in a plea for officers to reconsider the application, which will include first floor extensions to the side and rear of the house.

Neighbours are being given until August 25 to voice their opinions on the application.
