Women hoping to set up a 'creative hub' for young women are appealing for people to give them their views.

Corina Best, who runs the 21st Century Female fitness classes, hopes to set up a ‘creative hub’ to run sessions for women aged between 11 and 25 and wants to hear people’s views on the project.

The sessions, which would be held in Organ Hall, Bairstow Close, in Borehamwood, have been designed to inspire creative development and act as a safe place to go for women who want help or advice.

So far the project has attracted a team of six community volunteers aged between 14 and 24, who are all committed and passionate about turning this idea into a reality.

Ogechi Eni, 14, said: "I got involved because I think it is greatly needed and a great idea."

The group will be giving away free make-up gifts to women aged between 11 and 25 at a Borehamwood market stall today, in return for completing a questionnaire on what they'd like to see in the creative hub.

Only 200 free gifts are available and the stall will be open between 10am and 4pm today.
