A not-for-profit theatre company will host a summer workshop for children and young people.
Herts Inclusive Theatre, a charity that works with disabled and non-disabled children, will host the five-day drama and theatrical workshop during the summer holidays.
Participants will spend a week working with producer Emma Harrington, assistant producer Carly Young and trained workshop leaders to explore acting, singing, and movement.
The workshop will run from Monday, August 4 until Friday, August 8 from 10.30am until 3pm and costs £50 per participant for the week or £80 for more than one child.
Assistant producer Carly Young said: “We are excited to be running a low cost, inclusive holiday workshop with The Ark Theatre, as there are few actively inclusive summer activities available in the area.”
“Helen Ward’s ‘Moon Dog’ is a really beautifully written and heart-warming story for children and we are delighted to explore this wonderful piece of writing for our summer workshop.”
The free performance, which will be held on August 8 at 2pm, will be open to all members of the community.
