Schools in the county will receive an extra £11.2m of government funding.
The Department for Education confirmed that Hertfordshire would receive the cash boost to create fairness in the allocation of school funding across the country.
Hertfordshire’s allocated amount has risen from £670.3 million to £681.5 million – an increase of around £72 per pupil.
A decision on how this money will be allocated to schools will be made later this year.
