A rotary club has inducted its new president for the coming year.
Barbara Kennedy, who was also president for the 2003/4 year, has been announced as the Elstree and Borehamwood Rotary Club for this year.
At the first meeting of the Rotary year, which runs from July 1 to June 30, former president Cynthia Barker stood down to allow Mrs Kennedy to step in.
She said: “I thank my fellow club members for putting their trust in me again.”
