A club for people with sight problems went out and about this week with a trip to the seaside.
The Visually Impaired Club usually meets in Maxwell Park Community Centre but after a few fundraising efforts, the group was treated to an afternoon by the sea.
Volunteers and VIC members travelled to Southend during their outing on Tuesday, where they enjoyed a fish and chip lunch, played on the amusements and walked along the promenade before their journey back to Borehamwood.
Club members said they had all had a great day out and look forward to other trips.
