A parish council has decided not to refurbish a thirty-year-old pavilion.
The pavilion at Phillimore Recreation Ground, in Aldenham, was built during the 1980s but is now virtually unused.
Aldenham Parish Council has decided that the level of demand to keep the community facility did not justify its costs and now plan to demolish the building.
The council will now investigate the options for providing toilets for users of the recreation ground.
