Plans to install a number of temporary buildings at a football club are expected to get the go-ahead.

Boreham Wood FC has submitted an application for the construction of three prefabricated buildings in the car park and grass verge of the club grounds, in addition to the current four buildings.

It is planned that these new facilities will be used for educational purposes.

The council report states that the current proposal is not acceptable on long term basis due to the appearance of the buildings. but has recommended the proposals go ahead for a further year subject to a redevelopment plan being implemented.

Hertsmere Borough Council will meet next Thursday, July 10, to discuss the application.
