A Jewish organisation is on the lookout for new volunteers to get involved with its Golden Visits programme.
Golden Visits pair up Jewish volunteers with residents in care homes to provide friendship, fun and games.
Volunteers get the opportunity to organise tea parties, groups and festival programmes that the residents can participate in.
The organisation has been running for around one year, and is now looking for more volunteers for the project.
Potential volunteers are invited to attend a training morning this Sunday, together with a Bagels Brunch, to get information about Golden Visits and the opportunities that they can participate in.
The session will be held from 10am, in Shul Hall, in Croxdale Road, on July 6.
