Firefighters visited an Aldenham pub as part of World Cup preparations.
Staff of the Round Bush Public House received free coasters from Borehamwood fire station's White Watch to encourage drinkers to stay safe during the tournament.
The coasters were printed with messages ‘Don’t drink and drive’, ‘Go slow’, and ‘Enjoy the football: Drink responsibly or face the consequences’.
White Watch used the opportunity to inspect the premises, checking fire exits, alarm systems, emergency lighting, testing records and risk assessments.
