A Hertfordshire theatre company and charity will be performing a unique show in Borehamwood this weekend.

Herts Inclusive Theatre is a registered charity that offers young people and adults, many who have learning and physical disabilities, the opportunity to participate in drama, dance and music.

Their next production, Intergen 2014, is to be performed at The Ark Theatre in Thrift Farm Lane on Sunday, June 15.

The production will be a mix of work from six of our inclusive groups, who have been getting to know each other through writing, video and drawing to each other and will meet for the first time onstage at the performance.

There will be a cast of 80 performers taking part aged between five and 70 years of age.

In the theatre foyer, the company will have an exhibition of their work from the past three months, including a short film showing the process of the production.

After the performance there will also be a celebration event where all the cast and audience will be invited to enjoy live music and food from around the world.

The exhibition will open from 1pm this Sunday and the performance will start at 2pm.
