A former headteacher is hoping to collect memorabilia from his pupils for a new exhibition at the Borehamwood and Elstree Museum.
Keith Newson, headmaster at Hillside School from 1970 to 1987, is looking for people to contribute memories and memorabilia for a new exhibition opening in September.
The exhibition is being held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the opening of the first secondary school in Boreham Wood.
Mr Newson is appealing for former pupils to contribute personal memories and items from the school, from any time from its delayed opening in 1939 to its closure in 2000.
He is looking for anything from photos to play and concert programmes to school magazines that can be scanned and returned to their owners.
