Rain held off to help raise thousands of pounds at this year’s NSPCC Summer Party.
More than £3,400 was raised for the NSPCC at the Elstree and Borehamwood NSPCC’s Summer Party.
Around 150 guests attended the party, held in the grounds of Shenley Cricket Club, including councillors and deputy mayor of Hertsmere Councillor Carey Keates.
Hosted by chairman Dr Ann Goddard, the event included a speech from Bob Redman of Elstree Film Heritage and an auction of two tickets to Lords.
