The Conservatives and Labour Party topped the polls in the European Parliamentary elections in south west Hertfordshire, with the UK Independence Party tailing closely behind.
The Conservatives received the most votes in two of the areas, getting 34 per cent in Three Rivers and 37 per cent in Hertsmere.
UKIP produced a strong showing in Hertsmere, with 28 per cent of votes, and the Lib Dems received five per cent.
