Elstree and Shenley remain Conservative seats in Hertsmere Borough Council elections.
Harvey Cohen, formerly of Borehamwood Brookmeadow ward, took the Elstree seat with 940 votes.
He was far ahead of Labour's Daniel Elton, who polled 225, and UKIP's Antony Gee, who received 197. Liberal Democrate Holly Gunning had 62 votes.
Rosemary Gilligan retained her seat in Shenley, with 749 votes. UKIP's Eddie Wymer beat Labour's Colin Stanoiu into third place with 260 votes to 209. Lib Dem Derek Buchanan polled 91.
Turnout for Elstree and Shenley were recorded at 34.9 per cent and 31 per cent respectively.
