A memorial page has been set up in tribute to a young boy who died on Monday evening.

Summerswood Primary School has set up the page in memory of Peter Mills-Coles, eight, who died following an accident on Monday evening.

Emergency services were called to Masefield Avenue, Borehamwood, to reports a child had fallen off their bike.

Peter, who was in Year 3k at the Furzehill Road school, was taken to Barnet General Hospital at around 5.30pm but died shortly after arrival.

The school has released the following statement: “Peter is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and everyone at Summerswood. He was a popular member of his class and was always recognisable by his cheeky smile.

“We will all miss him very much.”

The memorial page can be accessed here.
