A Borehamwood Army cadet has “retired” after reaching maximum service age.
Staff sergeant Max Fuller, age 18, has been with the detachment for over six years and is now one of their most senior cadets.
During his time with the ACF, Max has earned qualifications in shooting and first aid, along with gaining a BTEC in public services.
Having reached the maximum service age, Max is now leaving the group to study forensic psychology at university.
Detachment Commander John Warburton said: “Staff Sergeant Fuller has been a sterling asset to both the Borehamwood Detachment as well as the county, and will be greatly missed.
“We all wish him well as he goes on to university.”
