A new award for student filmmakers in the East of England has been launched by the Cambridge Film Festival.
ShortReel 2014 is an award for short non-fiction films of up to five minutes produced or directed by student filmmakers.
The film must be connected to Cambridge, but is open to students from across the East of England including Hertfordshire.
The winning film will be premiered at the Arts Picturehouse during the opening weekend of this year’s Cambridge Film Festival and the winner will receive a £200 cash prize.
