Political panel show Question Time is coming to Elstree.

The BBC One programme, presented by David Dimbleby, features a panel of five people - made up of politicians, journalists and other guests - who discuss topical questions posed by members of the audience.

On last night's show it was revealed the May 22 broadcast will be filmed in Elstree, though details of the location have not yet been announced.

The panel line-up will be confirmed about 48 hours before transmission.

this will be the third visit of this type of show to borehamwood as i recall hosting the two previous visits in the 1980s.

the first was held at maxwell centre and the second at the hillside school theatre. the former had a panel which included arthur scargill and dennis healey as the bbc thought they were coming to a staunch tory area whereas in the 80s bwood was far more labour orientated. it was a good eve. i think it was hosted by david jacobs. of course this was for radio in those days
