A man is due to be released from hospital following an attack outside a supermarket earlier this week.
The 27-year-old man was assaulted by two men outside Tesco, Borehamwood, at 5.53pm on Monday April 28.
Tesco staff admitted first aid to the man before he was taken to hospital with head injuries and later admitted into surgery.
Police can confirm that he is now in a stable condition but is being kept in hospital under observation.
He is due to be released from hospital over the next few days.
