Patients and staff have put on their trainers to raise more than £1,600 for Sport Relief.
Partnerships in Care (PIC) organised a number of national sponsored walks, runs and cycle rides across the country as part of their ‘Tour de PIC’, an organised ‘domino-effect’ of activities across PIC hospitals in which staff and patients covered more than 1,000 miles.
In Borehamwood, staff at the company's Maxwell Road base raised £1,656.54 for their 45 mile bike ride to PIC's Kneesworth House in Royston.
A number of on-site events were also arranged for patients, including zumba classes and smoothie making.
The company has now raised a total of £11,817.66 to be sent to Sport Relief.
