A super slimmer has been inspired to open her own Slimming World after losing three stone.

Hannah Harman, of Stratfield Road, has been a member of Slimming World for about a year and has since lost three stone with the diet plan.

Rosalind Bluestone launched Slimming World at the Radlett Village Institute ealier this year and encouraged people to get involved with the ‘Slim for Good Campaign’.

In the past six weeks, the group has lost a combined 28 stone by motivating themselves at the weekly meetings.

Hannah now plans to open her own Slimming World group at 96 Shenley Road, Borehamwood, from June 4 at 7.30pm.

Hannah said: “After losing so much at other clubs, I just felt inspired to set up my own group.”

She added: “You have the group support at Slimming World. You go in and get weighed, which you can do anywhere, but the good thing about it is we have made friends and can encourage each other and swap recipes. It really makes a difference, as it feels like a social event.”

So far Hannah has about 20 people interested in signing up and aims to start promoting the group at the end of May.

As a mother of two, she strongly recommends the diet plan: “It just doesn’t feel like a diet as it is really flexible. It’s mainly about making a healthy choice and I can do it with my family so it works well for me.”
