An Elstree business coach has won an award for empowering women in business.

Ishreen Bradley, 48, won the prestigious award at The International Alliance for Women’s (TIAW) global forum.

This year’s World of Difference Awards recognised the achievements of 100 ‘difference makers’ from more than 30 countries who have made a difference to women’s economic development..

The winners were chosen for their contributions to women’s advancement in both society and business.

Ishreen, who founded Elstree-based company Bizas Coaching & Consulting Ltd in 2003, said: "I am delighted to have won this award because it recognises how I have helped women and girls - from those working in micro businesses in the UK to board directors around the world - to improve their effectiveness with people, productivity and profitability.

"The discussions at this year’s Forum were tremendously thought-provoking and gave me plenty of creative ideas for my business and philanthropic efforts."
