Borehamwood Times: Last year's parade Last year's parade

Scouts, beavers and cubs will march through the village to mark the annual St George's Day parade next Sunday.

Hundreds of children from patrols in Borehamwood will meet at Claredon Road at 2.40pm, and walk to St Theresa’s Church in Shenley Road.

There will then be a service about St George, the patron saint of England, at 3pm.

After the service, there will be a collection for Borehamwood’s Food Bank. Anyone is welcome to attend.

I must say I thought that was very brave of them to do a big parade on Easter Day !! That explains it.

Both the Southgate and Enfield parades are next Sunday so that makes more sense. Shame I cant see it as am not involved in Borehamwood scouts
