An appeal has been launched against a decision to turn down an application to build a new five bedroom house in Radlett.

An application by Mark Hathaway to demolish 63 Cobden Hill and replace it with a new home was refused planning permission because it is on green belt land.

The appeal will be determined on the basis of written representations.

This house replacement was approved then another application was submitted for an even bigger development which was refused as it would be 130% bigger than the existing in a prime green belt area.
